Many of our CESA 5 services are not directly linked to a specific department and are listed in this section of our web site.

Curriculum Specialist:
Contracted service providing individualized support for curriculum alignment and mapping, assessment and data analysis, and other district-identified priorities and professional development needs.
|
|
Driver's Education:
CESA 5 provides Driver's Education services to students based on school district needs. These services could include both classroom and behind the wheel (BTW) instruction.
|
|
Equity and Human Fairness:
A service which provides professional development opportunities, technical assistance, curriculum development, and school improvement to assure districts can meet the needs of diverse learners.
|
|
Gifted and Talented:
Gifted and Talented (GT) education leadership and coordination is provided through CESA 5 to facilitate general networking of district GT coordinators and resource staff. CESA 5 provides staff development and coordinates projects designed by the GT coordinators.

|
Life During Wartime History Grant:
“Life During Wartime,” a collaborative grant project with MATC-Madison, UW-Madison, Wisconsin Veteran's Museum, and Madison Metropolitan School Distrcti, provides professional development for grades 5-12 social studies teachers. Through content-rich discussions with nationally-known scholars and active, independent research, participants will explore strategies which use primary sources to teach history.

Natural Gas Consortium:
CESA 5 operates a natural gas consortium designed to help districts buy natural gas, intended to protect districts from large price fluctuations or spikes.
|
|
Van Delivery Service:
CESA 5 van delivery service delivers and picks up materials twice weekly to contracting school districts.
