The Instructional Materials Center (IMC) is a contracted service which provides K-12 instructional and professional development materials to member school districts.

The collection includes videos, multimedia kits, CD-ROMs, DVDs, software, Ellison Machine dies, and reference books.

Check out from the IMC is available to educators from districts that contract for IMC services. The IMC also houses grant-funded materials which are available for checkout by all educators within the CESA 5 boundaries.  Grant-funded materials are marked with an asterisk following the title.  A $6 handling fee is charged to non-IMC member districts for each checkout of grant-funded materials, with the exception of grant-funded books which are available for two weeks at no charge.  Non-member districts are billed twice per year for these checkouts.

The IMC collection can be searched via the Media Center Online Catalog.  Call numbers for all IMC materials begin with I and are followed by additional coding to distinguish the type of material.
